ASSISTANCE PROCEDURES
Due to continued efforts to consider the health of our volunteers, clients, donors, and community, we are operating under temporarily adjusted business hours and procedures. In consideration of the layout and size of the lobby, our facility will remain closed to client/donor foot traffic, but we will continue to offer food and utility assistance. Pre-ordered groceries will be available for curbside pick up on Mondays and Fridays between 8:30am and 12:30pm, and we continue to provide emergency utility assistance as needed. Instructions on how to place a grocery order or inquire about utility assistance are below. Physical distancing, increased hand washing, and constant cleaning measures will continue to be followed. Masks are worn when groceries are delivered to vehicles on Mondays and Fridays and when donations are accepted on Wednesdays. We are keeping a close eye on the numbers and trends and will reopen in stages when it is safe to do so.

DONATION QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Donations of food and toiletries can be dropped off curbside on WEDNESDAY MORNINGS! From 8:30am to 12:30pm on Wednesdays only, we will meet you in the Help Center parking lot to receive your donations. Our building will remain closed due to COVID-19 precautions, so please call us at 615-754-4357 to let us know that you're here. We will come out to get your donations and can give you a written tax receipt at that time if you wish.
We will post our needs for the following week on Wednesday afternoons (or close to that!) on our website's home page, on Facebook and Instagram.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THESE ARE OUR SPECIFIC NEEDS AT THAT TIME. We are blessed with faithful donors, and it's very important to us to remain good stewards of our donations; our food supply is holding. We will only list those items that we are running low on or are out of.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS ON OUR FRONT PORCH!
We have had a problem with wild animals rummaging through things that have been left without our knowing. This means that the donated food doesn't make it to its intended recipients, it's a mess to clean up, and it attracts more animals to our facility and possibly to homes nearby.
WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING CLOTHING DONATIONS AT THIS TIME.
We understand that many people have had extra opportunities to clean out closets lately! However, we will NOT be accepting clothing items until further notice. Since our lobby is currently closed to the public, there is no way to allow clients to go through clothing. We simply do not have the space to store non-food/toiletry donations. (We do not accept linens, household goods, or furniture.)
