Summer 2024 was busier than ever at the Help Center: 996 boxes full of meals and snacks were distributed to local school children, and 276 kids received backpacks and school supplies tailored to their specific school and grade level.
We are so very grateful to every single individual, organization, and church who donated summer food items, school supplies, and backpacks. It wouldn't be possible to support so many kids and families without the compassionate community that we are blessed to live in!
As Wilson County schools begins the 2024-2025 year, we hope we've helped these children and their families have a happy, healthy summer and a great start to a new school year!
